Looking at a 28-2 - any issues to look for?

First post here, we are looking at a 1985 Pearson 28-2, don't know the hull number. On distant inspection (that means I've seen the pictures of it) it looks like a well kept boat. Will be doing a more thorough look at it next weekend, but in the meantime I wonder if there are any known issues with these boats to look for? I gather it has a balsa cored deck so a thorough pass over the deck with the moisture meter will be on tap. Will be looking for the usual sailboat wear items, but I'm more interested in any problem areas unique to this model or Pearsons in general.
