Looking at a 1985 Beneteau First 325

Have sailed a Sonic 23 for 5 years and looking to move up. Looking at a 1985 Beneteau 325. I know this boat is known as a racer cruiser. i am looking for a boat to do some weekend cruising in Lake Ontario and race one night a week. ANy input from fellow sailors on this model would be greatly appreciated. Are there things specific to this model that i should be weary about

Nice boat and in some ways better put together than some of their later stuff.
Get a good survey and take a close look at all cored areas, bulkheads and keel bolts. I believe the decks are cored but not the hull.

Hi - I have a 325 and race once or twice a week and cruise when I can.

It's a super boat - I have no regrets buying it - a fast but comfy cruiser racer.
