Longer boom

Has anyone considered changing out the boom on H320 to make it two feet longer?
By ratcheting down the mainsail from 10 oz. to 7 oz. it would seem to roll in okay?
Or would this be too much for the B&R rig?

Talk to some sailmakers and try vertical batten main,
is is a bigger sail.
