62 nm in 10 1/2 hours. Took a little tour of Fort Sumter and the harbor waiting for the 0900 bridge opening and was in Georgetown in time to have dinner at Aunny's (my favorite) before dark.

I got a couple of pictures and I'm not going anywhere tomorrow so I'll write more about a wonderful day on the waterway.

For the "where's Roger" game, I did not think you'd make Georgetown until I saw where you were about 3pm. That's a long run. but good time - almost 6mph...
We're headed for upper 60s and sunny here today - starting to de-winterize the boat :)

I managed to hit the tides just right, riding the flood up to the crest and then catching the ebb down the other side. GPS was showing 8 knots SOG in a few places. I had some slow 5 - 6 knot stretches but they were short. A tail wind helps even under power.

I could have sailed a lot of this section but the weather report when I left was for heavy thunderstorms today and I wanted to be in Georgetown instead of anchored out in the open marshes. By the time I arrived, the system had fizzled and slowed and there will be only scattered thundershowers tomorrow. That's the breaks of cruising.
