It was in the coaming so I put a shower box there...which I need to hook up still...but until I replace my fresh water tank no rush.

Here is a photo. I bought a stock Navpod cut out for two ST60's cheap off ebay as well as a new 1" guard with a double bend. I cut one side of the pod for the GPS, an older color Standard Horizon, and made a wood blank for the other side out of an old cigar box. I mounted my remote controls for my new Kenwood Marine stereo there and added a jack for my mp3 player. That was I can listen to the Red Sox (ugh...not this year) or some sailing related tunes.

Total cost? About $400 including getting a machine shop to drill and tap the stainless.

Shoes? I usually go barefoot.

As far as additional instruments. I got a travel guitar for Xmas I thought about keeping on board but I wouldn't mount it to the guard. If anyone heard me attempt to play it they would probably suggest I mount it on the keel!

Seriously, though, Bob, I'm very envious of the whole set up, especially as there seem to be no external cords running hither and yon, like on my own. While I was sitting here, thinking about how to express my admiration without gushing, the spirit of Phil Hartman whispered "shoe buffer" in my ear.

Come fix my boat!

Well, someone needs to explain that you and your Sweetie should be boating in the Buff, not buffing in the boat.
