What kind of log book do you use and what info do you log? r.w.landau

Try This Link

Just did a search and came up with this link. I don't have any recommendation. I just use a small note pad, nothing to fancy. I'm not that organized by nature, but I can appreciate the need for one. The power and sail squadron used to have them for sale. Check with your local bridge. Cheers. Don

Thanks Don,

Phil, maybe you should take a poll of pertinent information that sailors would like in their logs and sell it in the chandlery. I have looked at alot of logs off the shelf but they just don't seem like good logs. Doesn't the Coast Guard require certian info for Captains? I have seen some people keep journal type logs but a log that asks for info is helpful for remembering all the conditions of a past trip. r.w.landau

Ditto R.W. Find it and they will buy...

Make it available in the chandlery and it will sell. Tom

Logs in our chandlery

There are about 25 log books in the chandlery on this forum. Phil, Could the descriptions be better or a picture of a sample page? There are two of them that sound pretty good. r.w.
