For my H28, I am looking for a way to lock the cockpit lazarette from the inside of the locker. Have any owners found a successful method? I do not want to put a hasp and lock on the outside; they look ugly and get banged around. Instead, I want to install a simple mechanical device that would engage when the locker is closed down and that would easily be unlocked from access in the aft cabin. Any suggestions or experience doing it would be appreciated.
