Location of hot water tank

I have a new hot water tank that came with my C30 TR when i purchased the boat last summer. It is still in the box and I am wondering as to where it is supposed to be located. Someone told me in the large locker on the port side. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

In front of the fuel tank is where mine is. Easier to plumb and winterize there too.

try this

original hot water heater was in the port locker in the cockpit...then moved to the locker under the seat in the cabin just behind the wall seperating the head and the cabin on the port side...jk
