Nothing really exciting happening right now, but here's a little update.
1) Leaking head turns out to be cracks in pump assembly>
It seems the PO sealed up some cracks with DAP
cussing:No-didn't see it when I bought the boat) and when I cleaned things I must have peeled some off and then the leaking began. I have just bought more DAP and am applying it liberally until I can replace the head.
2) Big project this past week was getting a new TV and getting it mounted. Seems all the commercially availble mounts are super expensive and extend, etc too much. I got by with two 10" 90 degree angles, a crossbar, a couple of 1/4" nuts and bolts and a cheap mount for the back of the TV. Got all channels except CBS. Once I get the power going on the antenna on the top of the mast I should be golden.
3) Took some time to go through all the stuff on board and was able to clean out the entire port locker. Looks like a good place to keep pots/dishes/or clothes.
