MY boat club was not too considerate this year and stored my boat near a tree. I have these little red spots almost looks like rust spots. I have used amonia and soft scrub with no luck, any ideas?? Thank you again. Richard
One of our boats got sanding/grinding residue blown onto it from nearby construction. Lots of little red spots. Use CLR (stands for Clorine, Lime, and Rust) in small quantities; takes it right off. If it's not rust but a plant-based stain, a tile cleaner usually works well. Spray it on, let it sit a few minutes, scrub lightly with deck brush, rinse away.
My boat had little spots which were bits of sap..........I cleaned them off with Poly Prep to apply Poly Glow and it dissolved them. You might try rubbing alcohol as I think that's the main ingredient.
