removehtml]Has anyone had the problem where their Link will not change displays when a "key" is depressed? Ladylove has been sleeping quietly in North Carolina since I layed her up in October. I finally was able to check on her last Saturday on my way down here to Florida. Everything looked good including the Link 2000. It was set on "volts" and bank #2 and displayed 13.65 which is normal for my four 100ah AGMs. But when I depressed the key to switch to display bank #1 nothing happened. So then I tried to switch from volts to amps, again nothing. I tried several other "key" combinations but it continued to stay on volts for bank #2. The other indicator lights on the display like "AC In" were also correct. This Link 2000 is attached to a Heart Freedom 2000 inverter/charger. Has anyone experienced this? It was raining and cold so I checked the bilge float switch and the lights. Then I turned off everything and left to ponder the problem. I'll return in a few weeks. Yes

My Link 2000 does the same thing sometimes. It seems to lock up every few months and not respond anymore. Works fine otherwise though. You can reset it easily by just opening the fuse holder for the power supply (not the voltage sensing lead) for a second or two and then reconnecting it.

Thanx Miles.

Wow, just that easy? I can't wait to try it. Too bad the boat is twelve hours away. And these days that equates to about $100. in gas. Thanks again.

Thanks, Guys

I just put mine in. Good to know about the need to reboot sometimes. Must be MS software, like my new Vista. Wasn't it supposed to be more stable? I have to reboot it regularly still. Oh well, sometimes I can use a reboot to. RD

Reboot

Yup, it just needs a reboot every now and then. Mine is from 5 or 6 years ago so maybe the newer ones are more reliable? But now that you mention Vista... Anyway, it does zero out the amp hours used but doesn't reset any custom changes you've made.
