Could you please provide instructions as to how to wire a housebank of 3 group 31 batteries in Parallel to the shunt negative? Are all three negative cables wired to the shunt lower sense connections or are the wired to each other and then only one connected to the lower shunt connection, or are two wired to the load shunt connection and one wired to the lower sensing shunt connection? I tried calling Xantrex but gave up, they apparently don't answer phones.

Just happened to Have My Link 10 Manual Open

If you look on page 12 of the manual, you'll see that you need to break into (figuratively speaking) your existing, single, negative cable coming from the boat and insert the Link 10 shunt to catch all the electrons coming back to the battery.

I say electrons are coming back through the negative, other theorists say electrons are going out through the negative. Without a current program in hand, it's hard to say what the theory of the week is.

Your 3 batteries are wired together, positive to positive and negative to negative. You have a positive and negative leading to loads. The shunt has to be in the negative lead and must be the first connection after the battery post. Exactly like the diagram below and the lower lead goes to the shunt. The only difference is you have 3 and the diagram I found only shows 2 batteries.

Here you go. If your third battery is a starting battery the negative lead should connect to the load side of the shunt. If your third battery is in this bank just insert it with two more parallel jumpers and connect the same way as shown. Neg and Pos loads should come off opposite sides of the bank.
