Lines running thru my mainsail boom

My 1994 26ft waterballast hunter has lines running thru the mainsail boom. I am unclear how to set them up. I think they are a system for reefing the mainsail, but the lines are not presently attached to the main and I just don't know how to have them so that they can be used to reef. Help!

start at page 44A. This will show you the reefing line config. as well as the outhaul. this is not a complete manual, but it's got all the major stuff covered. Bookmark it or save it. You'll need it again.

If yours is like my '98 240, you have 3 lines, 1 connects to the topping lift, 1 connects to the mainsail outhaul, and 1 connects to the mainsail reef point.

perhaps misleading? The third runs through the mainsail reef point back down to the boom and is tied of at a ring there as per the diagram on 44A.

Do you know where I could possibly find the same blueprints for a Hunter 25-1978, I purchased used and I really need as much information as possible.
