Click into the 25 section and then click into photos. Look for lines leading aft. A great contributor of previous info was Don Evans. He has many photo projects posted there. He sold his 25 about 2 years ago but his info is valid because he not only did it, he posted it in photo form. Where Did The Info Go?
I was also looking for this info, but it seems to have been removed from the site along with all of the other photo posts on the 25. If Mr. Landau could find it, that would be great.

I'm attempting to add the address with this post (see link at bottom). If not Go to Boat Info on the top of this page, then to owner photos, then pick 25 from list on left, then owner photos. One of Don's is on the first page and its called lines run aft. I've done this on my boat. I'm not sure from the photo how Don attached the blocks at the foot of the mast. I ordered an organizing plate from Dwyer Aluminium http://www.dwyermast.com/plates.htm It requires taking the mast down. Then you put the plate where the mast was. The holes should line up (mine did) then you put the mast back up. The plate has three holes on "wings" bent up on either side of the mast. You attach blocks to these holes. Then you put an organizing block on the deck ine the area between the cabin roof and the hand rail. Then a rope clutch and winch at the aft end of the cabin roof (there's another six holes in the cabin roof. If you haven't mounted hardware to the deck/roof then you want to learn. Ploace everything first mark carefully, drill holes a bit larger than needed, tape underneath, poor epoxy into holes then redrill holes through epoxy so you don't get water traveling out through the core material). Then get new LONGER haylards and lead them down from the mast head to the new turning blocks, through the organizing blocks, and finaly to the rope clutch. There, that's all there is to it. I bought everything but the mast plate from Rudy. Then I sailed it all around the lake for a couple of years before mounting it. Be real careful witht he placement of the organizing block near the handrails. My lines rub a bit on the cabin roof they should probably be more paraell to the handrail. another question
ive seen don/s photos and wonder if it would be neccessary to unstep mast also how much longer should halyards be? is 75ft. enough for each halyard? i suppose the main halyard could be less...however i am no genious.thanks for all your advice

Eric, I would drop the mast
so that you could put nuts on the inside so you are not just tapped into the mast. The Main halyard is 59' the jib halyard is 61. Your boom is 9' and you are going across the deck about 4' If you are doing splices, you need to add for them. I think your guess of 75' is pretty close. r.w.landau
