Hello Bill (V 1390)
I tried evry piece of advice that i was given but eventually gave up
on the task and tried a different approach. My insulation was in good
shape so all I had to do was to get around the problem of the glue on
the hull and the back of the liner. I ground off small patches of the
glue on the hull with a coarse sand paper on my palm sander. I then
epoxyed small squares of industrial Velcro on those patches. The
obverse side of the Velcro was attached in small patches with brass
paper staples (the split pin type) at corresponding positions on the
insulation. It has worked out well (photos posted).
Best of luck,
Clint ( V 3326)
