Genuine Stripper
Mickey, I know what it is like in Maine and have raced at Marblehead which has a pot every few yards. It is almost a 'No Go' area for yachts. May I suggest that you buy the genuine "Stripper". A UK magazine tested them all by throwing every kind of rope, netting etc at them. The Stripper came out streets ahead of the rest. Sadly it is also the dearest, but what is that compared to being on a run, getting caught in a pot line and not being able to get the boat turned around so that you can get the mainsail down. I bought stripper and have never regretted it.
