Lightning hit our H340 about 10 days ago. Still sorting through what works and what doesn't. I know the 2 Grp 24 wet cell batts are toast as are the shore power cords, on or maybe both of the shore power connectors, the simple Blue Seas voltmeter the PO installed, and I suspect the shore power batt charger is gone as well. So this may be the time for some upgrades.Any advice on the specs for a troublefree system that would support 2-3 day weekends aboard, where I could leave the refrig on when sailing or at anchor, not worry about the anchor light staying on all night, keep the house and starter batteries separate, etc. I think this probably means 3 batteries (golf cart or 12V?, sealed, wet or AGM?), isolator/combiner wiring and switches, better charger to keep things topped off when at the dock... Don't want to overload the boat or run out of room (location for batteries and charger is in stern quarter lazarette, at the level of the cockpit floor. Still looking for an Atlanta area pro to help out.
