attach heavy strand or 1/4 solid copper to the mast step from inside the cabin and run as straight as possible to a keel/swing keel bolt and attach with a heavy connector such as a very heavy eye or connector used to connect house lightning cable to rod.
Thanks for the info.! I was wondering if there may be any danger to anyone aboard in such a small cabin? Is grounding the mast right down the middle of the cabin the safest path?
