Light covers...how to get off without wrecking?

Do the light covers in the cabin of a C22 just pop off or slide off? I'm talking about the three interior cabin lights (1976 model). I tried to pry one off but it seems like it was about to self-destruct if I applied any more force.Any help would be appreciated.Keith K.S/V Vesta#6348

Plastic Reflect-o-light?

Do you have the White Plastic square ones? If so, they snap off, although at this point the plastic may have become hard and brittle and the lens may crack when you try this.Mine did. I replaced all the cabin lights in my boat because of this.The link below will bring you to the lamp I used. Chic & Cheap.
