Brilliant! I will try this, but will add a "T" support to the top of the board to lessen the stress on the boat.

I know this is an old post but maybe some one else can use the info.
I have not tried this my self but have seen it done.
Just jack the boat trailer up about mid ship boat and all. Cut 2 2x4's to prop under the rub rail at a slight angel away from the boat. then lower the jack as needed to get a gap big enough to get your paint roller in where you need it. ( NOT YOUR HAND) just in case. trick from my old friend charlieJ!! his picture too.
I just painted the bottom of my C22 and need to get the bunk areas yet. I think that's a great idea. Just do one side at a time and crank down the swing keel so it's weight stays on the trailer to lessen the load.

My bunk paint job.. Brutal construction for me. More time for painting bunk patches than rest of entire hull.

I had noticed a bit debate regarding placing the stress on hull seam at rub rails. I avoided the opportunity to harm at that point..

Looks like you have things well under control. I would, however, suggest rotating the cinder blocks under the jacks so that the hollow portion is vertical and inserting a piece of weed between the block and the jack to even out the stress. It'll be much stronger and safer that way.
