Lifting keel Oceanis 38 (2015)

About to buy one and want advice about the lifting keel. I don't necessarily need a lift keel because mostly sailing around med - its just this type of boat has come up and is conveniently close to me and good price. If it is a big compromise on upwind and maintenence then I'll keep looking!

Not a boat that many others would want, I should think, so drive a hard bargain. Also, it's more mechanical things to go wrong. For me, a person who has owned 9 keel boats, it would be a deal stopper.
