Was looking online at the Foley website at the spinon clear bowl filter with the fuel drain built in
Said it was a racor filter
Anyone try one of these?

Looks like a must have idea to keep from spilling fuel and filling before the next run to make bleeding easier

Part number?

Thanks
Gary

Gary, While I can't speak for the spin on filters, I would like to add that there are many, many, many complaints from folks that have had less than satisfactory dealing with Foley Engines. I don't even see a photo of the filters on their website, maybe I just didn't look hard enough. Chuck

Good answer, I've just concluded a 4 month nightmare of lies and retaliation from Foley. But I finally won without having to take them to court.

More on the story....

After seeing the folks in lauderdale about the racor filter the 120AT is a suction side only filter Turns out it is the 110 that has in and out ports on it.

For folks that have banjo fittings in this area which most perkins do they are straight threads and the 110 has 1/4 mpt threads.Simple job to tap them out and you are good to go

All this took my old school engine and brought it up a better easier to use standard

Can you tell us the particulars on the Foley problem?????
While I don't want to violate the terms of this forum, I feel this is just a factual representation of an issue that is now solved. I have no complaints about Foley's products because i never had a chance to use them. Just a warning for those doing business based on my experience. I tried to buy their 4108 alternator. They sent me the wrong one even after asking me if it needed a tach output (it did). Then for 1 1/2 months they told me it would be in "this week". At one point the service manager, Phil, said it was shipped and it wasn't. Each of these contacts were initiated by me. Finally after 2 months I asked for my money back and they agreed. A week later when no credit showed up I was told "billing is processing your refund". At that time I put in a chargeback claim with my credit card company as they lied so many times and I just didnt trust they were processing my refund and cancellation. Next thing I know the original part shows up. I called them back and Phil agreed to take it back but my CC rejection lit a fuse. Jay Foley then wrote a lie-filled letter to the credit card company about the chargeback. That forced me to rebut their lies with documentation and the credit card company agreed with me and credited me with the fraudulent charge. Be careful with this company. Use a trusted credit card like Amex. Get everything in writing. Document every telephone call. Don't trust them. Their front office and service is incompetent. I can see why with an owner as nasty and hateful as Jay Foley I cannot imagine working there and caring about anything.
