Any reason why the aft end of the 393has only one life line (relatively highoff the aft deck by the swim ladder).

Life Line

Our 390 has the same thing. My guess is that there is a single line to make it easier to get to the swim platform. We take ours down to swim and put it back up when we're done.

I have installed a lower aft life line.Kids will be better protected from fallingunder. Bought parts from "RIGGING ONLY"

Aft Life Lines

I was told one aft life line as the distancefrom the aft seat to the line does not exceedXXX inches. Kids can still fall through. Designed and installed a second lower safety line for abot $100USD.
