Hey Guys and gals, I have a 1990 model catalina 28, hull # 67 and the port amidship life line stanchion leaks. I had a heck of a time trying to get it loose and finally did after using a large screw driver and another hand on the out side racheting the vertical pipe off. I put an o-ring around the stud and got it all back together but can't tighten the nut down quite tight enough...is there a wrench available to fit or is it another assembly mystery. It looks like the stanchions were placed and positioned on the deck before it was joined to the hull, leaving absolutly zero working space to remove the nut...any ideas, comments, sympathy?...jg
