Life Line Chafing

I noticed that my life lines are being degraded by chafe from the mainsheet when on a broad reach, at least that appears to be the source of the chafe. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on how to prevent it (short of heading up!)?Jonathan Dyer

What I did on my 260 was take the ends off the life lines and slide on some, in my case red, high pressure hose. It means that when you lean back on the lifelines they are more comfortable and it also highlights them so I tend to be even more aware that they are always fastenend.
