Same in Louisiana.. $23 for three years for a dink sized powered (including electric) boat.. Sails only or oars aren't required to be registered.. Those dollars go to the wildlife and fisheries department and not the general funds.. so I am fine with this nominal fee..

At the very least, I'd put SOME kind of number on there, just to avoid talking to the cops. 20 bucks is cheap to keep the scoundrels away from me.
