Hunter H260 Traverse City
I had Farmers Insurance Group for my liability insurance on my Hunter for the past year- They sold out to Foremost Insurance which increased my premiums by 45% for the same amount of coverage and deductible- Anyone else know of insurance companies that cover sailboats that are reasonable???

Progressive

I used progressive when I bought my Hunter 33 last fall

marine coverage

Farmers Insurance bought Foremost and placed their 26ft and under boats with them. They left the 26 and over boats with Zurich in their yacht secure program. You are better off to buy a good policy with a company that specializes in Marine insurance. They have better coverage for pollution liability and will sell you an agreed upon hull value policy.

Try State Farm

I just recently purchased a Hunter 23.5 and have all my various insurances through State Farm. Good Luck

Boat US

Not only is Boat US the cheapest one, but you get the $50 towing free with your yearly membership. However, next year I am going to increase the towing amount. Cost me $100 to get towed off a shallow island in the middle of the lake. Sailed in that spot for years, but the lake was about three feet lower than normal.
