Lewmar Trapezoidal foredeck hatch seal replacement

I have a leak in my foredeck hatch which is a Lewmar Lewmar Trapezoidal foredeck hatch and I want to replace the seal on my Catalina C310
Has anyone worked on this project? I have removed the hatch.
The issue I am having is that the hatch frame is one piece. All the instructions and U-tube videos show the Lewmar Hatches are constructed in two pcs. So I am not sure how to proceed.

I have removed the hatch.

You will have to supply pics of what you have on your workshop bench at this time for us to relate our experiences.

I have re-attached the seals on several cover lids on our boat but have problems picturing what you mean by a one piece hatch. I can picture a two piece hatch with the lid and the base being held together with a hinge(s) :

Are you saying a one piece hatch has the base and lid fixed together with a welded on hinge ?

A simple picture of your hatch will make this much easier.

Lewmar makes a bunch of different styles of hatches, some are pretty easy for DIYers to replace seals, some not so much. Hatchmasters is the goto shop for Lewmar Hatch repairs and updates.

Where is the leak water coming from? The gasket or the frame attached to the deck? I replaced the "glass" in mine as it was severely crazed. Resealed the glass with dow corning 295 , cleaned up the gasket and it's contact points and adjusted the opening mechanism to ensure a tight seal without a lot of effort required. I also checked and retightened the hatch screws as a couple were not snug. As the admiral operates this hatch ease of operation is mandatory. To send the hatch to hatch masters from Nova Scotia would have depleted too many boat bucks. Far cheaper to buy two new hatches for what that would cost. Also I could not get the admirals permission! The hatch is a lewmar ocean SZ65 19B1 trapezoid according to the frame info.

Thank you all for feedback. I am going to contact Hatch Masters. They are only a two-hour drive for me and with the boat on the hard a road trip is not an issue.

They are bit hard to find. They are in a small strip mall in an out of the way and past its prime commercial area in East Norwalk. Not a lot of overhead in their business.
