One of the hinges broke on a 23x23 inch hatch. The hinges seem to extend by ratcheting two small holes in the middle of the fitting. Yet that seems only to provide pressure, not any sort of extending pin. Any ideas here? Thanks.

I recently purchase the kit online from the Lewmar website and when I went to install it, I found the missing pin and reinstalled it, so now I have a spare. the parts to repair the hinges are inexpensive, just google Lewmar and select hatches from the menu.
