Lewmar hinge kits - friction vs non friction

Hi -

I was wondering if the lewmar hinge kits are interchangeable between friction and non friction.

I have series 60 hatches and need to replace the hinge pins (damaged while removing the hatch to replace the seals).

My current hinges are the non friction type, but the in-stock replacement kit I found is for the friction hinges.

Do you guys know if the 2 types are interchangeable ?

Otherwise I need to order the parts from England.

I think getting through to a radio contest for Stones Tickets would be easier.

All I get is an endless loop of press 1 for support and then nothing....or voicemail hell.

Lewmar must have the worst phone system on the planet (to accompany their web site, which is like navigating Venice in the dark without a map).

If anyone has any useful contact info (that you know works !) for Lewmar, please pass it along......the numbers on their web site sure as hell don't seem to get through to their tech support.

Thanks Ariel - but that's where I started - they weren't sure and said to call Lewmar.

I coulld never seem to get thru at Lewmar, so I asked here - and got pointed back to call Lewmar - whose phone system dead-ends when trying to get to support.

Mmmm. Check what time it is when you call the UK. EST and GMT is about 5 or 6 hours difference. Just saying!
