We have a 1999 Hunter 42 with a Lewmar hatch. It has a sun shade that has bands of clear and opaque plastic that move to open and shut out sun light. This is usually covered with canvas on the outside, but after Huricane Charley, our boat was in a yard for 6 months and it was in the sunlight. It darkened around the edges and needs to be replaced. Do you still carry this product? The Hatch is approx 27 inches square.

Bill I had the same problem with our 2000 420 hatch shade cover after just 3 seasons, but we never kept it covered. It also never fit right. After replacing the foward stateroom hatch cover with a peek-a boo and being extremly happy with it(after 3 seasons it still looks like new) I replaced the master hatch with the same. Believe me it is much nicer and works better than than the Lewmar. Mike Bernard,s/v Eternity

Bill, Those particular shades were phased out last year. We offer a shade screen that should retrofit where the existing plastic trim is and they work nicely. You can see an example on the website. I tried to attach one as well.

Ben, We saw the shade/screens at strictly sail, Chicago. Where are they available? Do you have a retrofit for a B331? I think we have Lewmar 30 hatches mark
