I am in need of a gasket for the friction lever for the front hatch on a friends 2001 420 Passage. What I find is a pack of 20 gaskets for about $28. I believe it is the size 60 hatch, but I am currently waiting for the storm to stop before I go out and measure the the hatch and take a closer look. If anyone bought the pack of 20 and you are near Marina Del Rey in Los Angeles, I would be happy to buy one!
This is a 91 year old friends boat that I am helping get ready for a trip. I also found the mast base is leaking and will check for plugged weep holes at the base. Rain in SoCal lets you find leaks you did not know you had!
Thanks for any help.

Lewmar replacement parts are available here in the SBO store, Hatchmasters, as well as other chandleries. Twenty gaskets should be enough to last one or two lifetimes! My understanding is that you may have to lift the black rubber gasket to visualize the hatch size inscribed on the acrylic lens. I am preparing to rebuild the size 44 hatch on my boat after recently aquiring the necessary seals.

The SBO store does not list the gasket unfortunately. I found many places that do sell them, but just in bulk. I may try just using some black Life Caulk.

Try posting on the wanted section of the "gear" adds on this site. If you can't find one there then buy the pack of 20 for $28 plus shipping and advertise them on the for sale section of the "gear" adds on this site. Why mess with something like "Lifeseal" or a similar product, which is very expensive" and run the risk of it leaking and then having to clean up the mess or worse yet, ruining the hatch?
