Just getting ready to do this myself. After some research the best advise that I have found are to wet sand the poly with a 140 -160 wet paper and then polish using the product FLITZ. I have seen the results of this method and the result was a great finish.

I am under the impression that the damage lies inside the glass?
Will the sanding method actually penetrate the crazed inner surfaces?
Anyone know the cost to send out the frame for new glass?
The side portlight is a solid piece of acrylic so I need to call Lewmar for a new replacement?
