I'm jealous. Makes easier to get around the wheel. Any problems installing the autopilot on it?

For the autopilot, the spokes on the OEM wheel are 12mm and on the folding wheel they are 16mm. When you buy the autopilot it comes with both sizes for the connectors that go around the spokes. The PO gave me some parts but I don't think the 16mm connectors where there. I may have to order some from Raymarine.

I don't think our PO had any extra parts on the boat from installations. I suspect he paid for everything to be done and the installers got rid of extra parts with the boxes. The only things on the boat when I bought it were some safety gear. Not even an extra fuel filter.

Lol. Sounds like my PO. He striped everything of the boat. He had showed us all kinds of stuff but it was gone when we went to take delivery. He also stuck us with half a yard bill for winter storage even though we bought the boat in December. Oh well. Every boat has a PO at some point.

I've had mine for 7 seasons now and love it.

Only drawback I've had is a nasty cut on my hand from the open end of the spokes as I passed by and whacked the spoke. I've seen a couple people put tennis balls or something for protection. Other option of course, is to just be careful. ;) Just a heads up.

I was lucky. I'm still finding cool things he left me. And when I took delivery, I had a fridge full of Sam Adams because I mentioned I liked it the day I looked at his boat!

My Hunter 306 came with a 36" wheel and I upgraded to a larger 40" folding wheel... Completely worth every penny!!!!

Wow, that folding wheel really does open up the cockpit. Let us know how the autopilot install goes.

Did you order three packages? I ordered a set also and it came with several different size clamps. Now I need to order two more packages to get two more of the one size I need.

What size do you need? The package I ordered came with two different sizes.
