The Delta plow is an older design, there are several new designs that will work better than the Delta, such as a Spade, Rocna, Mantus.

On the assumption you meant anchor ROLLERS, the answer is Yes,
You have to watch to make sure that when the end of the shank hits the roller the is point aft, but it it does all is well. If it does not, the anchor will flip over and fall out of the roller. I saw a guy put a hole in a Pogo 12.5 doing that. NOT a good day.
There are several designs of anchor (bow) rollers. Many of the new boats I’ve seen at boat shows have been equipped with Delta anchors fitted with a bow roller. Other rollers I’ve seen work well long-shank anchors, such as the old CQR, and might not fit well a Delta with its strong plow shape and
“angled” shank. My bow roller is a custom match with my Suncor Plowmaster of relatively long shank. A Delta would not fit/work well, nor a Bruce or other claw type. The roller unit itself is a “working unit” that tilts down when the anchor is being hauled, then rocks back to “level“ as the shank comes aboard, etc., and is secured. A nice system.

the situation is i do have a Lewmar delta and i heard about chocks to keep it on deck. Now how safe, secure would those chocks handle the job?

Chocks are set in place to fix an anchor’s position on deck; keep it from sliding. A chock set should include a deck fitting to “insert“ the anchor tip with the shank lashed to another fitting. There might be a third one to rest a palm against. The place to put it might be right at the stem between the rope chocks With chain/rode attached. If set and lashed PROPERLY, the anchor should ride well there, be out of the way, and be handy for deployment, etc. But if you are using chain w/o a roller, no windlass(?)—a wet, messy, job using it. Hire a rigger to install. But a 24-ft Bristol on nylon rode should work OK.
