The "domino" ones.


Anyone get slippage w/these? I seem to remember there was some talk of that when they first came.

You need to use line close to the max size for the device. Much less happy with small sized lines.

What's the line going through it like ? I can see old hard line tending to slip ................... maybe.

Anyone get slippage w/these? I seem to remember there was some talk of that when they first came.
No problems, mine are spec’d for 1/4” to 5/16” and I run 5/15” line through them.

That Lewmar "falling rings" design is way cool. I just replaced some from the mid 90's with all new ones last year. As with any line clutch device, it is indeed good to use line toward the upper size range. I like these because they are so easy on the line.
