lenght of stays on oday 222

I am in the process of redoing the rigging on my 222. The question I have is how much of the threaded area should be in the threaded area of the stud be in the turnbuckle when you measure the length of each stay.

Most riggers measure standing rigging with the turnbuckles open halfway.
