Has anyone had experience with using lemon oil on interior teak? I have read it is better than teak oil, but I suspect one would want to use a superior grade oil. I would like to put some life back into the teak in our cabin but do think varnish is the way to go. Any recommendations would be appreciated (i.e., brand of lemon oil, where to purchase, etc.) Thanks, Bruce C.

Lemon oil/Wax

I found a product at BoatUS called Interior Wood Care(I think, can get bottle and get manufacturer's info). It contains lemon oil, beeswax and a few other things. It's fantastic on Interior teak. It does initially darken wood somewhat but lightens after a week or so. It puts a beautifull golden glow on teak and affords some moisture protection as well. Forget teak oil, it's messy and attracks mold and mildew too....
