Will an outboard motor service facility service a propane powered outboard motor? I will ask mine, and I am also interested in others experience. Thanks.

They certainly should since the carburetor is the only part that is actually different from the gasoline version.. but... The engine itself is a Chinese Parsun http://www.parsun.biz/ and they may claim to not be able to get parts .. Parts should be easily available through LEHR or a Parsun house..

a good repair shop should not be afraid to take it on, others will whine and try to sell you a real engine....parts are fairly easy to source for the Lehr, if needed...oil is oil and so on. Same tools will handle both, with the exception of the carb...and they are generally pretty reliable, as the usual gasoline gunk is not an issue.
