I am in the process of selling my 37.5 Legend. The inspector noticed a compression in the bulkhead on which the mast post sits. It is compressed about 3/16" or less. I had a rigger inspect the rigging and mast. He reported no apparent deflection of the tabernacle, but noted the shrouds were about 30% of recommended tension. The boat sails true on both tacks, so maybe I'll take up the shrouds a turn or two. But has anyone else experienced this compression? Is it serious? They are suggesting the inner wood laminate may be rotted.
