I'm looking for good ideas to install a 16000 btu unit in my Hunter. The unit would fit under the settees easily but I cannot figure how to route the. Air ducting from below the seat to behind the cushions where I could go in both directions? It looks like the only way is to cut the structural bonding piece that is bonded to the sidewall...

Any other ideas or pictures would be greatly appreciated! It's shaping up to bea very hot summer...

i'd try to get pictures of the install from a boat owner with the same model and ac system you are looking at. too many yard mechanics w/o AC experience can really screw up an aftermarket install.

I went to the other side. I put the unit under the nav station. Then ran the vents through the top of the space behind the first settee and through the space under the cabinet in the head to the aft stateroom. I think I posted pics back several months and will look. Running the vents was the worst part of the job. By far....
