I would like to replace my 5 reading lamps and 3 dome lamps with LED. All 8 have the same bulb but I don't see a number, just 12v 10w. They have round bases like car or trailer brake lights. 2 pins to hold them in the sockets and 2 contact posts. I want some bulbs that project straight for reading and some that flood the compartment. Has anyone done theirs already?

Saw those. Didn't find a bayonet, double contact bulb that faces down (90º).

Have you tried 'Superbright led.com'? They have a large selection...

Yep. I did find a universal LED disk with a bayonet connector attached with short leads. It could work

Try http://store.marinebeam.com if you can't find what you need at the SBO store. I got quick replies to emailed questions. They make a replacement for a 1157 bulb (1157 is the number I think?) for dome lights but don't expect a spot version and a flood version, I believe only a "flood" version exists.
I like their red/white version. One click on is red, click on/off quickly and you get white light.
