Leaky windows

I am the new owner of at Catalina 270 and on my first night anchored on the boat we had a couple of impressive thunderstorms go over. Forward hatch and the port and starboard ports all dripped (as did a solar vent). Any ideas or am I basically headed to new gaskets, and if so, is there much to replacing them? My first boat so I'm a bit thick on some stuff yet. Thanks!

We too have a new catalina and the first weekend onboard, experienced a lot of rain. Two of the ports leaked and I freaked! Luckily, there were several more experienced sailors on our dock who advised that new windows sometimes need seasoning. I cleaned the gaskets with a damp rag and have had no problems since!
