Have done my "detective" work and have concluded that the water (albeit a small amount) accumulating in the bilge is from a leaking keel bolt. If I tighten the bolt, assuming I can, should I expect that to fix the problem or should I expect to apply some sort of sealant. Hoping I can fix the problem without a haulout. The boat is a 96 H37.5

I'm interested. Can you explain your detective work and the observations that have led you to a keel bolt issue?

Also, can you quantify the amount of water over what period of time? Engine running or just floating?

Rich, Thanks for the interest. The boat is docked at a marina. I checked the packing gland, no leaks. The fresh water tank, hot water heater, and all connections. No leaks. The A/C drains into the bilge, but that was not the culprit. I vacuumed all water from the bilge and observed a small amount of water seeping from one of the keel bolts (or so it appears)

OK, thanks for the info.

I also have a bit more water than I think is coming from my packing gland, and that is why I was interested in knowing how you made your determination.
