Leaking through deck at penetration

I suspect that I have a leak through a deck fitting for the wiring harness conduit from the engine panel. The fitting has a hole in the bottom to allow the harness to penetrate the deck which is drilled through.

I am not sure how I should go about sealing the fitting. I have butyl tape curtesy of MaineSail which I have used on other fittings with great success.

Any suggestions would be appreciate!

Loosen the 2 set screws, pull the 4 plate screws, pull the deck plate up, clean out all the old 5200, apply tape, re-connect, should stop any leak at that location.

I also seal the interface between the conduit and the deck plate. Loosen the two set screws, slide the conduit out of the deck plate, clean, around the end of the conduit and the inside of the deck plate, re-insert the conduit and tighten set screws.
