What kind of opening ports are used by Catalina and other production boats (the ones on the sides that open)? I'm trying to find a way to adjust these so they don't leak around the gasket. Thanks

silicone on the joint
of the outside aliminum frame stopped all of my leaks except one. on that one, I replaced the gasket and that leak stopped. The hardest part of replacing the gasket is removing all the old sealent in the groove. I used a small knife, small flat blade screwdirver and a dental pick.

Hello, Use 'Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure' on the expansion joint.....penetrates and stops the leak, no visible blobs of sealant and drys clear.
