We have a leaky packing on the prop shaft. Would anyone know were I would go to find out the size and tipe of packing it uses. And what size is the jam nut and the packing nut

You have to go to the packing gland
measure the shaft diameter and measure the diameter of the threads exposed near the packing nuts.One half of the difference is the packing size. You only have about three choices of material and like the teflon impregnated style. while you are down in there measuring the shaft, measure the nuts also.
