Leaking like a pig...

I have a Dexter EZ-lube axle on my cargo trailer. I've been battling grease leaking past the rubber cap almost since day one. Every time I tow I end up with grease on my wheels. I've tried both Dexter and one or two aftermarket brands of caps with the same result. I'm about ready to glue these things into place. Has anyone else ran into this issue?

Are you familiar with the EZ-Lube axle? I don't think it's possible to over grease them as the old grease just flows out the of the front of the hub when filling.

I try to use the same grease but there have been times when the one I was using was not available so I ended up switching. When switching to a different brand I try to push all of the old grease out. I've always used the correct type of grease for the axle

Either you are overgreasing or your hubs are running too hot. Too heavy a load or inadequately inflated tires if they are trailer tires.
