i seem to have a leak in my bilge. i had dried it out completely, a few days later, there was some water in it. i checked the shaft and it was dry. could it be coming from the keel boats. i have the catalina smile but i don't notice any other spots it could be coming from. anyone else run into this. also, there appears to be a bolt under the engine on the cat 30. any idea how to get to this to tighten if it is the leaking point?

Fresh or Salt

I had a situation like yours on my previous C 27 and determined one of the lifeline stantions was leaking. Rebedded it and wala, no more water it the bilge... Yes, I also had a Lasdrip box as well. I did have the "smile" on my 27 as well but that is not always the source of the leak in fact it would be rare for that to be the place of the leak. Also, DO NOT tighten or mess with the keel bolts unless you are certain they are leaking. It is best NOT to break the seal, if you will, in my opinon, on the bolts should they not be the problem.
