Leaking fresh water tank

My 22 year old SS fresh water tank is leaking. The SS apprears to be in good shape overall. Is re-welding appropriate or is there other avenues to consider? Thanks Bert

re-welding

S/S can be re-welded, but doing so "in situ" might be problematic. Not everyone is qualified to weld stainless.
